Pointvoucher Limited (hereafter "Pointvoucher" or "we") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy details how we collect and process your personal data when you create a user profile (hereafter "Profile") in Pointvoucher games (hereafter "the Game"), when you play the game and when you redeem your points for vouchers.
You are welcome to play Pointvoucher games without creating a profile. In order to earn and redeem voucher points, you must create a profile.
It is possible to create a profile using your Facebook-account. You can also create a profile using your email address. You have to be at least 16 years old to create a Pointvoucher profile. If you're not 16 years or older, you cannot create a profile or earn voucher points. In games we offer in collaboration with a Pointvoucher partner, the age limit might be higher. If the Pointvoucher partner's age limit is higher, it is the terms and conditions of the partner that applies to the game.
We provide some of our games in collaboration with game partners that might be a cooperation or an organisation ("Pointvoucher partner specific games"). Please note that when you register as a user of a Pointvoucher partner specific game, your data will be shared both with Pointvoucher and the third party providing the game in collaboration with Pointvoucher.
Some vouchers are offered in collaboration with a voucher partner. When you redeem your voucher points for such a voucher, your information may be disclosed to the voucher partner. It may be a condition for redeeming these vouchers that you agree to receiving newsletters or the like from the voucher partner.
You will receive separate information regarding any third party's collection and processing of your personal data. It is important that you read this additional information so you are informed about the collection and processing of your personal data before you create your profile or redeem your voucher points. The Pointvoucher partner becomes the data controller for this collection and processing of data. Pointvoucher are neither liable or responsible for third party data collection.
If you choose to create a profile, we need the following information:
Depending on the game, we might not ask you to provide all of this information until you wish to redeem your voucher points.
If you use your email address to create your profile, you will be asked to provide us with the information as stated above.
If you use your Facebook account to create your profile, you allow us to collect the relevant information about you from your Facebook profile. If you have not provided this information on Facebook, you will be asked to provide it yourself during the registration process.
You will also be asked if you want to allow "post to facebook", which will give you the chance to interact with and get help from your Facebook friends in the Games where this is an option, presuming that they play the same game and have registered their profiles via Facebook. In order to facilitate this interaction, we will require access to your Facebook friend list. The information about your Facebook friends is not used for any other purpose and the information is not stored at Pointvoucher.
We use the information we collect to provide you with the best experience in relation to Pointvoucher, Pointvoucher partners and voucher partners. This includes creating and managing your profile, granting you access to play the Game while earning points and issuing vouchers based on your activity in the Game. When you play the Game using your Profile, we collect information on your progress in the Game, the points you earn in the Game, how long you are active in the Game and which Games you play. We also collect information on which vouchers you redeem your points for. We collect this information from all Pointvoucher games that you log onto. This processing of your personal data is required in order to grant you access to the Game and in order to issue and redeem vouchers for you. The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6, 1 (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. We also use your personal data to personalise the vouchers we show you - the data in question includes your gender, your age and your postal code. The legal basis is Article 6, 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as we, balancing out our interests to show you relevant vouchers, have found this personalisation does not violate your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
We also collect technical information about the manufacturer, version, internet protocol (IP) address, browser-type, version and language for the hardware or software that you use to access our Game or our website; information about how you use our Game or website, including how many clicks you make, which pages you visit and in what order, for how long you visit these pages, and also time and data usage on such a visit. We also collect information on landing and exit pages. We use this information to improve our website and games, to fix bugs, to personalise your experience of our services, and to improve our customer service. Additionally, we collect information about your account status at Pointvoucher, i.e. when you redeem your points for vouchers and which of our partners you choose to get vouchers from.
We use this information to manage your relation to Pointvoucher and our partners' relation to Pointvoucher, to improve our selection of vouchers and to manage your status for points and redeemed vouchers. The actions described above are necessary in order for us to pursue our legitimate interest in developing and improving the Game and our products and services, and to show you relevant content and advertising. The legal basis is Article 6, 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as we, balancing out our own interests, have found this treatment does not violate your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
We process your personal data in order to send you personalised advertising, including newsletters. We collect information about which advertising you consent to. We only send electronic advertising if you consent to it. The legal basis for the treatment of your personal data is our and our partners' interest in showing you personalised content and advertising our products and services to you cf. Article 6, 1 (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
If you play a "Pountvoucher partner specific" game, e.g. a game from an amusement park or a supermarket chain, or if you redeem your points for vouchers from certain voucher partners, we will pass on the personal data we have collected about you at your registration for the specific game or at the redemption of vouchers from that particular partner. This applies to information about your acceptance of our terms and conditions, your consent to receive advertising from our partner, plus information about your email address, name, birth date and year, gender, postal code, country, and, depending on the Game, your mobile phone number.
The data transfer is necessary in order to give you access to the partner specific Game or to issue the partner specific voucher you've requested, and to ensure that our game and voucher partners may send you advertising if you have so requested. The legal basis for this practice is Article 6, 1 (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Upon receiving personal information from us, the third party recipient becomes the data controller for this information, and Pointvoucher no longer has any control over the information.
We can entrust your personal data to our providers of IT-development, hosting and support, banner ads, advertising, website- and behavioral analysis and also email and direct marketing. These companies are professional data processors and will treat the data of which we are the data controller according to our instructions.
The data processors may not use this information for any other purpose than the fulfilment of the contract with us, and are subject to strict confidentiality. We have signed data processing contracts with all data processors who process personal data on our behalf.
Two of these data processors, Google Analytics v / Google LLC and Facebook Inc., are registered in the United States. The necessary warranties regarding the transfer of information to the United States are ensured through the data processor's certification under EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, cf. Article 45 of the General Data Protection Regulation..
We retain your personal data for as long as you have a relation to Pointvoucher. We will take all reasonable steps to destroy, or erase from our systems, all data which is no longer required once a user account is deactivated (whether by you or by us). If you, at the time of the deactivation of your Profile, have any points left on your account, that is to say points that could have been reedeemed for a voucher, or voucher codes that haven't been used, both your points and the voucher codes will be lost. We encourage you to redeem all your points and use all your voucher codes before you close your Profile. If you try to log in after your information has been deleted, you have to create a new Profile. However, we will still retain documentation for your consent to direct marketing for 2 years in order to prove that we haven't violated any law by sending you advertising. You will not receive any advertising from us in this period, unless you renew your consent.
You have the right to access which personal data we process about you, for what purposes, to which recipients we pass on your information, the retention period, and also from where we obtained the information in question etc. ("right of access"). If you so request, you will receive a copy of the data that we process about you. If so requested, the copy can be in an electronic, machine-readable format ("right of data portability").
If you discover that our information about you is inaccurate, you have the right to ask us to correct that information or to correct it yourself on your Profile which can be accessed on Pointvoucher's platform via the Games or the Website ("right of reply").
To the extent that we have based our processing of your personal data on your consent, you have the right to at any time withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data ("withdrawing of consent"). You can also withdraw your consent to marketing.
Under certain circumstances you may have the right to request erasure of your personal data, for example if we no longer have any legal ground for processing of your personal data because your account has been deactivated and/or you withdrew your consent. You can also request to have your profile deleted or delete it yourself by accessing your profile on the game. Please note that if you delete your Profile, all your points, unused voucher codes and your progress in all games will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
At any time, you can object to our use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, and in addition to that you can appeal to the relevant national regulatory agency.
Under certain circumstances, you may ask that we limit our processing of your personal data, only retaining it as storage. This may be during a time where you also exercise one or more of your other rights. Such a restriction will be lifted once we have accepted or rejected your request.
Whenever possible, we will inform the recipients of your personal data about any correction, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data.
In order to exercise your rights, you must provide a proof of your identity, e.g. by sending the request from the email address that we have registered in our system. We might ask you for further proofs of identity (e.g. a copy of your driving licence or passport or a recent utility or credit card bill) in order to make sure of your identity before we process your request.
If you wish to exercise any of the above rights, you should put your request in writing and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pointvoucher has taken technical and administrative security measures in order to protect your personal information from accidental destruction, forfeiture or deterioration, and from falling into the hands of unauthorized persons or otherwise be subject to unauthorized processing.
